Copper Coating to Protect Against Invasive Zebra and Quagga Mussel Colonization

ISI recently delivered a large screen project to the state of Texas for installation in a waterbody which has been colonized by invasive zebra and quagga mussels. The non brush-cleaned surfaces of the screens have been coated with a thermal sprayed copper which we have used successfully on past projects to inhibit mussel colonization.
